The EWGAE 2024, which took place in Potsdam in September, provided almost 120 participants from 23 countries with exciting insights into the research, development and application of acoustic emission.
63 innovative lectures from science and practice, the keynotes by Dr Nathalie Godin from INSA Lyon | Dr Ernst Niederleithinger | Prof Dr Arno Zang and Prof Dr Torsten Dahm from GFZ Potsdam and Chongjie Kang, two panel discussions on the OpenAE initiative and on reshaping the European landscape of acoustic emission testing and the industry exhibition provided participants with plenty of material for intensive discussions and lively networking.
Many thanks to everyone who attended the EWGAE and congratulations to the winners of the awards presented at the conference evening at the Biosphäre Potsdam:
Adrian Pollock Award for Prof Nathalie Godin from INSA Lyon
Best Student Paper Award for Christina Baumeister from the University of Augsburg | Florian Tremmel from the University of Bundeswehr Munich | Ivan Sirbu from University of Applied Sciences Gießen
The EWGAE 2024 provided an excellent platform for inspiring discussions and professional dialogue at eye level - a great opportunity for everyone to shape the future of acoustic emissions together.
The manuscripts of the presentations are published by our media partner NDT.net via the conference proceedings app at the following link EWGAE 2024 Conference & Proceedings (ndt.net)
