It is our pleasure to invite you to the upcoming 36th Conference of the European Working Group on Acoustic Emission (EWGAE), which will be held from 18 – 20 September 2024 in Potsdam, Germany.
The EWGAE conference is a prestigious international forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners who are interested in the field of acoustic emission. The conference aims to provide an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and share the latest advances in the field of acoustic emission, including theoretical and experimental investigations, instrumentation, data analysis, and applications.
This conference will feature keynote lectures on AE applications for geothermal applications, concrete structure and bridge monitoring and explore its cale up to seismicity. Prof. Dr. Nathalie Godin is awarded the prestigious “Adrian Pollock Award” and will present her achievements in service life estimation of composite materials. Various technical sessions and panel discussions on Open Source AE and the future of AE in Europe will cover a broad range of hot topics in AE. The conference dinner in the Biosphere Potsdam will provide a vivid atmosphere and opportunities for networking and building new collaborations.
